Hi folks, in this post, you will learn about the various Power Automate flow types and how to use them.
Currently, there are three types of flows, which are further divided into five subtypes:
Cloud flows
Cloud flows can be used if you want automation automatically, instantly, or based on a schedule. A description of the attributes of cloud flow types follows this article.
Automated cloud flow
An automatic cloud flow can be initiated by an action such as receiving an email or creating a SharePoint item. This kind of flow is ideal when you want particular requirements to be fulfilled based on the type of trigger you specify.

Instant cloud flow
Instant cloud flows are the most often used type of flow. It is being triggered manually, i.e. through a click of a button via a Power Apps application.

Schedules cloud flow
The schedule flow does exactly what it says. The flow will start and end at a specified date and time. When you want the flow to take place on a particular day and time, use this type of flow.

Desktop flows
A workflow that automates processes even in legacy applications without an API.

Business process flows
People follow business process flows to accomplish their tasks. To help users follow a predefined process, they provide a streamlined user experience.
